Following is a procedure to obtain the AVCHD Format and Logo License.
Company who wants to obtain the AVCHD Format and Logo License will submit "Application Form" to AVCHD Format Co-Promoters Office via fax.
From outside Japan: +81-50-3809-7375
From inside Japan: 050-3809-7375
Co-promoter office will send a copy of the "Evaluation copy of the License Agreement for AVCHD Format and Logo License" to Company.
After check the evaluation copy, company will inform to Co-promoters office. Co-promoters office will send official agreement form to Company.
Company will send signed agreement to AVCHD Format Co-Promoters Office by express courier.
Co-promoters office will send an invoice to Company. After receiving the fee, Co-promoter office will send the AVCHD format book sets with a receipt form to Company.
After receiving the AVCHD format book sets, Company will fill the receipt form and send it back to Co-promoters office. |

| AVCHD Video Cameras |

complete ready to use consumer-use digital video camera products that incorporate
Capturing Function, Recording Function and Playback Function and may optionally
incorporate Editing Function and/or Converting Function. For the avoidance
of doubt, (i) AVCHD Video Cameras shall include complete ready to use consumer-use
digital still camera products that incorporate Capturing Function, Recording
Function and Playback Function (and such may optionally incorporate Editing
Function and/or Converting Function) even if such products are marketed
and generally perceived by end users, as digital still camera products,
and (ii) AVCHD Video Cameras shall not incorporate a function of transferring
captured images and/or sounds from Tuner to Recording Function. |

| AVCHD Players |

complete ready to use consumer-use digital video playback products, other than AVCHD Video Cameras, that (i) incorporate Playback Function and may optionally incorporate Converting Function and/or Editing Function, and (ii) are (a) designed and marketed by Licensee and (b) generally perceived by end-users, as products whose main function among such functions is Playback Function. For the avoidance of doubt, AVCHD Players shall not incorporate Recording Function and Capturing Function. |

| AVCHD Software |

application software product which runs on a general-purpose computing platform, shall incorporate at least one of Recording Function, Playback Function or Converting Function, and may optionally incorporate Editing Function. For the avoidance of doubt, AVCHD Software shall not incorporate a function of transferring captured images and/or sounds from Tuner or Capturing Device to Recording Function. For the purpose of this definition, a general-purpose computing platform may be equipped with extension accelerator boards such as a MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 codec board, a graphic accelerator board or a sound board, in addition to a mother board. |

| AVCHD Archivers |

complete ready to use consumer-use digital video archiving products that (i) incorporate at least one of Converting Function or Editing Function and may optionally incorporate Playback Function, and (ii) are (a) designed and marketed by Licensee and (b) generally perceived by end users, as products whose main function among such functions is either Converting Function or Editing Function. For the avoidance of doubt, AVCHD Archivers shall not incorporate Recording Function and Capturing Function. |

In AVCHD license program, recording media is selectable by licensee.
When SD memory card is chosen, licensee must be licensed by SD Card Association under a valid and existing Host/Ancillary license Product license agreement. For more information on Host/Ancillary license Product license agreement, please contact to SD Card Association.
