I am hooked on that movie "The Fourth Kind." I believe that every single bit of this movie is real. Except for the names of course that where changed, other than that i totally believe the movie. I keep watching this movie over and over. And if you saw that movie you know why. Every time i see the archive footage of there house from the officers car i just loose my mind because of what i have seen. He is the link for that part of the movie:

not i want you to watch the hole part of this movie then go to 00:26 seconds into the movie and pause it and look at him floating right there in the air. Then go to 08:56 and watch through 08:58 and look at the top of there house and u can see the UFO coming into place. I put all that for people who havn't seen the movie so they you know why i can't get off it. Anyway i apologize for getting off subject, this was suppose to be about Abigail Tyler. I live in NC, USA and it says at the end of the movie she is currently somewhere living on the east coast of the US. But i cant any info. on her anywhere on the web. Since this site is all about aliens i figured one of you must know something. Please let me know if you find anything. Also tell me what you think of the movie. And tell me what you think of Dr. Abigail Emily Tyler.

You can find many real reports, but may I ask you why you completely believe in a totally fictional mainstream movie?

Because the movie isn't fiction. It is based off actual Nome studies that Dr. Tyler did.

That's all up for debate whether the movie was based on fact or if it's just a work of fiction... We already have a large thread with many posts about this.. There is also speculation there if Dr. Abigail Emily Tyler was an actual person or a fictional character... interesting and informative read...

You know I'm starting to realize why they made the movie in the first place. I think it's to hype up conspiracy theories of the real religion being the Anunnaki, which the Sumerians believed in. Ehhmm, I find it stupid that Hollywood would make it just for something that has barely no proof. I know 2012 is not even connected to Sumerians in any way. People make these absurd ideas that they are connected when the Sumerians NEVER stated anything about 2012. They mix Mayan culture with Sumerians just because the Sumerians believed that their gods will return one day and Mayan's calendar probably just ran out of space for the calendar to continue. If they didn't run out of space on that big rocky tablet, then it still makes no sense connecting these two theories.

Sumerians) Gods will return one day

Mayan) the calendar ends in 2012; the majority of humans find it weird it ends in 2012. I don't find anything weird about it. The only thing peculiar about this is that other religions and beliefs around the world believe in 2012 doomsday as well. Maybe it all originated from the Mayans though. In conclusion or as a result, there will be no doomsday unless we made an error in our research.

Mixing Sumerians and Mayan theory) People think that planet X, or Nibiru carry's the gods and it will pass by Earth in 2012. OK, so why the hell would it "HAVE TO PASS" in 2012? NO EVIDENCE, just because many religions think that, now Sumerian researchers get money for mixing theories.

And that's why they made the movie. To entertain 95% BS theory.

I believe you have the wrong idea on Mayan folklore. We (as in modern views) view time as linear whereas the Mayans viewed time as something that was reoccurring. They believed that if something happened in the past it would happen again sometime in the future. They believed that certain 'catastrophic' events would reoccur.

Regarding their calendar, it really doesn't 'end' per se. The Mayan's calendar is so sophisticated that it is more accurate than the calendar we use today. It consists of 3 components; The Tzolk'in, The Haab (creating the Calendar Round) and the Long Count. The combination of the three creates a 5026 year cycle. This 'cycle' ends on December 21, 2012 (our calendar) which is where all the 'buzz' comes from. It isn't the end of the world but rather the transition into a new era. However, it is said that during this transition catastrophe will be imminent. Again, this works in conjuncture with the Mayans view of time; that something that has occurred in the past will surely occur again in the future. So with that said, it's believed that the Mayans were able to 'record' certain celestial events to come to the conclusion that life is a 'pattern' and anything that happened before will happen again.

On November 12, 2009 Universal Pictures agreed to a $20,000 settlement with the Alaska Press Club "to settle complaints about fake news archives used to promote the movie." Universal acknowledged that they created fake online news articles and obituaries to make it appear that the movie had a basis in real events.[7] (from Wikipedia)

So, the makers of the movie admitted they faked everything to make it appear real, and even paid for it.

Frankly I feel kinda bad for Universal, because believing in a mockuemtary is like believing The Blair Witch Project was real.

Only thing I can tell you - I have been for the last 2 hours trying to find information related to this subject on the net - first - I did not find anything written from any residents of Nome - nobody is asking them and nobody hears anything from them - second - all I find on net is persons trying to convince another that there happened absolutely nothing - you know that they do not want to disclose the truth - what if she is a real person banged up in some asylum for the "protection of us all" - isn't that strange that the number of missing persons is in fact far larger that only 24 - FBI simply did not want to process a whole bunch of cases - all suspicious - and how that almost no bodies at all are found - do you really think that if this is happening that they are not going to bombard us with different and confusing information as they always do - I would like to hear something from a person living there or some family member of a missing person - this is all suspicious and interesting

It is not real, hollywood loves to make up great suspense and base them on true events. The only true thing in this movie is that people did really come up missing but the FBI said it was due to them drinking or something like that....here is a link that explains the truth behind the fourth kind.

no really - if you check the web there is a good number of first-time to see pages and they all simply pump our brain that absolutely nothing happened there - maybe only only hedgehogs are disappearing there never to be found - why should then even residents of that place talk about it - if this not strange I do not know what is

If they do not want to disclose the truth, then why would they make a movie and say it is real??? Or is this just like all the other movies where they take an event and exaggerate the hell out of it. Also don't forget about the Blair witch, when I saw that I was 14 or 15 and I thought it was real. Now when i think about it I think how dumb and gulliable I was.
