Help us
find a cure
Our mission is to find effective treatments and a cure for Fanconi anemia and to provide education and support services to affected families worldwide.
Our mission is to find effective treatments and a cure for Fanconi anemia and to provide education and support services to affected families worldwide.
We believe that research is the answer to one day making Fanconi anemia a treatable condition so that those diagnosed with the disease can live long, healthy lives. After years dedicated to gene identification, improving bone marrow transplantation, and uncovering connections to breast and other cancers, FA scientists are now poised to create less toxic therapies and improve and extend lives. Signing up with FARF gives you access to educational materials, resources, support services, and community. All information and services are free, and your information is kept confidential.
This group has a wonderful amount of knowledge to share & will send you positive vibes when you lack strength. It’s a wonderful outlet for questions, information, love, and support throughout the journey.
We envision a future in which we can prevent and/or eliminate the primary causes of death and disability in people with FA, enabling them to live full and productive lives. To us, the best way to do this is by funding research. That’s why most of our budget is committed to research. We also support families by providing them with education and other services, like our annual family camp and our meeting for adults with FA.
You know that warm, fuzzy feeling you get when you’ve done something important and good? We thrive on that. We also count on it: almost all of our funding is the result of individual donations and fundraising efforts. Whether it’s donating, creating your own fundraiser or supporting another, every single effort counts. How will you make a difference today?
